Tamul Multimedia’s TMN9200 Uses Alango’s Voice Communication Package
Tirat Carmel, Israel (June 15, 2016) - Alango Technologies, the leader in voice enhancement DSP preprocessing software, announced that Tamul Multimedia's TMN9200 utilizes Alango's Voice Communication Package (VCP) noise suppression and echo cancellation technology. Initial TMN9200 systems have already been CarPlay approved by Apple.
Alango’s VCP is a universal software package suitable for many different processing environments. VCP enables high quality, full duplex, noise and echo free communication in hands-free automotive and a wide range of other applications. In particular, Alango's automotive VCP technology specifically addresses the issues of engine, wind, rain, and fan noise as well as reverberations in the cabin that degrade intelligible speech.
A new generation of vehicles will include seamless linkage with a user's mobile phone. Whether it is Apple CarPlay or Android Auto – this functionality can be accessed via the vehicle's AVN system. In essence, the vehicle display mirrors the mobile phone screen. Auto manufacturers and their T1 suppliers are responding aggressively to incorporate this functionality in the next generation of vehicles.
