Realtek Semiconductor and Alango Technologies Partner to Offer a Solution for In-Car Communication
Realtek Semiconductor (Taiwan) and Alango Technologies, Ltd. (Israel) have announced a collaboration to deliver a joint solution aimed at facilitating In Car Communication (ICC) between the driver and passengers to improve safety, convenience, and overall satisfaction during travel. This collaboration benefits vehicle OEMs and their Tear 1 suppliers simplifying the integration times while improving the overall system performance. ALC5575 serves as an open platform, and Alango's ICC software enriches ALC5575 and shows superiority of this platform. This partnership entails the porting and optimization of the Alango ICC software package for the Realtek ALC5575 audio processor.
Alango's in-car communication technology is exemplified by various essential features. These include advanced noise reduction, effectively suppressing background noise, robust acoustic feedback cancellation, optional adaptive beamforming that focuses on the speaker's voice while minimizing background noise, and ultra-low latency processing, facilitating real-time communication. Additionally, both one-way (driver to rear seat) and two-way (driver to rear seat, rear seat to driver) communication options are available.
